- The original building, constructed in 2008, was 16,000 square feet. In spring 2010, an 8,000 square foot addition was added. In 2012, we added another 13,000 square feet and in 2013 the middle school wing added 10,080 square feet. Cologne Academy’s final construction project was completed in time for the 2015-2016 school year. This 30,000+ square foot addition supports the growing middle school population and houses a full stage and a dual court gymnasium.
